St. Mary's RC Primary school is in the Diocese of Salford.  The foundation governors at school are appointed by the Diocese for the purpose of maintaining and developing the Catholic character of the school.  

We work closely with the Diocesan team to promote and improve Religious Education, Collective Worship and the Catholic Life and Mission of St Marys.
